My mini perfume collection

I've started into perfume since the middle of last year. I did wear perfume before but not as 'obsess' as of right now. For me, perfume plays a significant part in my life. a certain scent can remind me of some great memories, in other words, its like when I sniff a certain scent, it bring me back to the past. Also, when I put on some perfume, it make me feel super happy and beautiful (

So here's some of the perfume that I've collected so far. It's not that many though and I got few mini size one. However, I'm only gonna mention the one that I likes.

The first one are the Little White Dress and the Little Black Dress from Avon and its in mini size. I really love this perfume. Little White Dress is more on the light side and the other one is slightly heavy but not that much. Both smells great however it doesn't last long. It wears about 1-2 hours on me.

I'm definitely into heavy scented fragrance although people usual option for heavy ones in winter or cold season, but it doesn't really matter in my case.

Next up are from Paris Hilton, Fairy Dust and the first perfume that she came up with, it doesn't have name on it except 'Paris Hilton', so I assume its Paris Hilton.

As you can see in the above picture, I have used up Fairy Dust quite a lot compared to Paris Hilton. I really love Fairy Dust and I don't understand why people from Fragrantica dislike it so much. It smells super nice and its a unique scent. On the other side, Paris Hilton smells so sweet and fruity. Its okay but I don't love it, its kinda like a typical scent. However both of them last a long time! I think it last the whole day on me.

I think I got both of this the longest, probably 4 years ago? I'm not sure. Its the Love Generation Sexy and Mixte from Jeanne Arthes. The only reason why I bought these before was because it was on on sale that time. Love Generation Sexy smells nice but the lasting power is so poor. It last about less than 1 hour. Whereas Mixte on the other hand, last about more than 3 hours. Morever, Mixte smells great and a fun scent to wear!

Fourthly, its Guess by Marciano. This is the second latest perfume that I bought. I bought it from Winmark for $66, and its so much cheaper on the web (=.=) such a boomer. So anyhow, I don't really regret much buying it, I super LOVE this one! The vanilla in it is super noticeable! I love everything with vanilla in it! its super strong and heavy. Some people might hate it, and to tell you the truth, I've had headache after putting it on for the first few days. However, after that I become used to it. You'll only gonna need to use a tiny bit. Although it's a strong perfume, the scent will blend into your skin and depends on your body chemistry, it'll dry down to a sophisticated, sexy and subtle scent. I've got a lot of compliment when I put this one on and in addition, its lasting power is great! last me the whole day!

And the last one is the most recent one that I've purchased. Although its an old perfume, but I'm new with fragrances so I wanna give a try to one of most popular perfume on the market, Britney Spears Fantasy. I've also heard that it almost smells like Guess by Marciano, and in fact, its definitely almost the same! However, Fantasy leans more towards sweet and fruity whereas Guess by Marciano leans more towards vanilla-y. Super love this one! Smells super duper great! and its long lasting, and last the whole day.

Furthermore, talking about the packaging, its super cute! It has attractive bottle adorned with Swarovski crystals. And I had a hard time accepting the fact that this bottle can hold up 50ml of product. Its super tiny. Below is a picture to show you the size comparison.

The Guess by Marciano hold 50ml of product too

I bought Britney Spears Fantasy from Naafi. It retails for $41.30 which is a bargain when you compared to the price of some department store had put up.

That is all for my perfume collection. My favourites are Guess by Marciano and Britney Spears Fantasy. Have you tried these perfume? If yes, what do you think of them? If you haven't, do tell me your favourite perfume so I can try it out next time.

Till then! <3

Review: Products from Eucerin

I bought 3 items from Eucerin last June as soon as I read good reviews on it in some blog post. However, in my case, not all of the products delivered well for my skin type.

Eucerin White Solution Whitening Night Treatment

Packaging: 4 out of 5
Product: 3.5 out of 5
Price: 3 out of 5
Quality: 4 out of 5
Made in: Thailand
Repurchase: No

Product's description:-

I love how it feels on the skin, it kinda sink into the skin and moistures it well. So far, I didn't experience break out however I don't think this is great at reducing acne. In terms of whitening and brightening effect, I don't really feel it. It certainly didn't lighten my acne mark. All I can say, it's moisturising power is just great. Other than that, nothing special. Furthermore, it came in a big jar which I can use up to roughly around 4 months.

Retails for about: RM50~60

Eucerin White Solution Oil Control Day Fluid

Packaging: 3.5 out of 5
Product: 4 out of 5
Price: 3 out of 5
Quality: 4 out of 5
Made in: Thailand
Repurchase: Yes

Product's description:-

This is my favourite among the three! I used this everyday! I haven't seen any darking of my skin nor breaking out from using this , however the downside to this product is that, the oil-control is not that great, but its still bearable though.

Also, when applied, a little goes a long way. I still have some left. I really like that it comes with a pump that's reliable, however, the bottle is opaque, that is why I'm not sure how much product left in it.

Overall, loving it, a 4 out of 5. Retails for about RM40~50

Eucerin DermoPurifyer Creme-Gel

Packaging: 3.5 out of 5
Product: 3 out of 5
Price: 3 out of 5
Quality: 3.5 out of 5
Made in: Germany
Repurchase: No

Product's description:-

One of the reason why I bougt this is because of the name Creme-gel. I really thought it has a gel consistency, but then its just cream. From what I heard, for those who is suffering from acne, its best to have a gel moisturise than a cream one.

Furthermore, it says clearer complexion in 3 weeks. Definitely not for me! I didn't see that at all! I don't really like how it feels on my skin. Because after a while, it kinda feels heavy on me. Certainly it doesn't irritate my skin however its not that great at reducing my acne.

Overall: 3 out of 5. I forgot how much it retails for but I think its ten-ish, maybe about B$18.

PS: The White Solution range if I'm not mistaken is not yet available in Brunei.

Till then, take care!

Review: Etude House Aqua Cure Facial Mist II

Packaging: 5 out of 5
Product: 4 out of 5
Price: 3 out of 5
Quality: 4 out of 5
Made in: Korea
Repurchase: Maybe

Product description and ingredient
What puts me down the most is that it contain alcohol and methylparaben! I know that most product contain that stuff but then I really want to avoid it because it really doesn't do good to my current acne-prone skin.

However, aside from the ingredient, I do think that this is a wonderful product! Great to be used as a toner or even whenever you want to refresh your face.

It contain a lot of vitamins, and its moisturising. It doesn't irritate my acne and I love how it smell and how it feels on the skin.

Overall, a great product! a 4 out of 5. I had the ZA energy mist, but I still prefer this one. Retails for B$19.90.

Till then, take care!

Review: The Body Shop Travel/Mini Brush Kit

I've had this brush kit for quite some time now, I bought it last year during their Raya promotion so it retails for $28 something and I got it for $25. So anyhow, the kits comes with 4 brushes; the blush brush, eyeshadow brush, angled  brush and a lip brush. They are so tiny but still workable in my opinion. Its easy to travel with and the 4 brushes are house in a flip-flap case with small mirror in it. I'm sorry I can't show you the inside of the case basically because the case get dirty real quick and its hard to remove the stain.

1. Blush brush - I kinda like the blush brush, it picks up products well and spread them well also. Sometimes I use it for powdering concealer under my eye area. A great brush to start with.

2, Eyeshadow brush - The least favourite brush from the kit. Really! I'm not sure why but it seems this brush can't pick up any eyeshadows colours, even the pigmented one. Probably because it's synthetic? I'm not sure either. Might as well throw in the dust bin =.=

3. Angled brush - My favourite brush of all the 4. Its perfect as eyeliner and sometimes I use this as a smudge brush or to line my eyes with powder eyeshadow. Love this one!

4. Lip brush - Nothing spectacular, not bad either, just average =)

Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5 ^^
